The Acorn is cozy (~300sqft) and dynamic and fun and artistic. Enter from a sweeping helical staircase past the patio and outdoor bathtub (enclosed on three sides for privacy). Step inside to find a fully functional kitchenette, whimsical decor, a king bed under a vaulted ceiling. The bathroom has a glass rain shower that looks out to the bedroom and the trees beyond. Ascend to the rooftop stargazing patio and relax in the daybed or macrame swing by the clay fire pit under twinkle lights.
Lots of stairs — it’s a treehouse! Floor level is 10ft above the ground.
Thank you to our wonderful host Jacob whose attention to detail made for a perfect honeymoon. Just minutes away from historic downtown, this treehouse is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. We were able to explore the town and take a drive down to Enchanted Rock for some hiking. During our stay Jacob reached out to us regarding a problem with one of the swings, we didn’t even realize there was anything wrong with it. Nonetheless, he was quick to fix it. My husband and I really enjoyed our vacation and we hope to come back soon and stay at the HoneyTree.
Beautiful place! 10 minutes from town but you can step on the porch and watch deer play all day. Can’t wait to go back.
Every inch of Honey Tree is perfection. Soft towels, sheets and blankets. Comfortable bed. This place will make you feel at home the second you walk in the door. Every detail is high quality and curated to draw interest and provide comfort and beauty. It is close enough to town to run in for lunch, but far enough away for deer to visit often, and the dark dark nights to provide the escape you need. The wifi is strong enough to check work email or stream a show, but honestly you won't do either because you will be too relaxed and envelope in the clam and serenity that Honey Tree provides. We stayed in Acorn, and when we drove up at night it was lit up and breath taking, memorable even before we stepped inside. We were told there are over 400 places to stay in Fredericksburg like this, but I can confidently say none will even come close to the experience you will have here. This is like a Four Seasons tree house, but not stuffy and boujee.
Exceptional experience to enjoy nature in the trees while sleeping in luxury. To be so close to everything in Fredericksburg but feel like you are alone in the woods makes for a wonderful vacation where you can have it all!
We had a great time at the Acorn treehouse, it was everything we wanted for a relaxing weekend away in Fredericksburg.
The treehouse was magical! Perfect in every way!
Very quiet, mean, cozy, and a unique place to stay while in the hill country for my wife's birthday!
So beautiful !! Everything we could have hoped for and more ! Such a quiet and peaceful stay ! Would love to visit again!
