HoneyTree Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers about getting to HoneyTree, checking in and out, choosing the right treehouse cabin, and how booking works for our Fredericksburg, Texas hideaways.

Getting to HoneyTree

Where is The Meadow located?

The Meadow is located at 168 HoneyTree Ln, at the end of Durst Maurer Road, just about eight minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg in the Texas Hill Country.
Because HoneyTree is tucked away and intentionally secluded, we strongly recommend using the custom driving directions we send with your check‑in information instead of relying on Google Maps or Apple Maps.

Where is Blue Sage located?

Blue Sage is our second HoneyTree property, located about ten minutes outside of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 965 and roughly fifteen minutes from Enchanted Rock.
As with The Meadow, please follow the detailed directions we send along with your reservation and check‑in email, rather than depending on navigation apps.

How far apart are The Meadow and Blue Sage?

The Meadow and Blue Sage are about a twelve‑minute drive apart, making it easy to explore both areas of Fredericksburg during your stay at HoneyTree.

Where should I park when I arrive?

Complimentary on‑site parking is available for the duration of your visit to HoneyTree. Some treehouse hideaways are a short walk from the parking area, so we suggest packing in a way that’s easy to carry.

Do you have EV chargers at HoneyTree?

Yes. The Meadow has one shared Level 2 universal charger near the supply shed by the water tanks, plus a Tesla adapter located inside the shed on the window sill.
Blue Sage offers one Level 2 universal charger and one Tesla charger outside Cabin No. 1, along with an additional Level 2 universal charger outside the supply shed near the exit.

HoneyTree is designed primarily as a romantic getaway for couples, but babies and small children are also welcome.
Blue Sage Cabin No. 1 is our only unit that comfortably accommodates a family. For other units, feel free to reach out and we can help you decide whether there is a good spot to tuck in a kiddo with a pack‑n‑play or extra bedding.

What is the difference between The Meadow and Blue Sage?

The Meadow treehouses are tucked into the trees along Palo Alto Creek and feel especially secluded, with abundant wildlife and a feeling of being immersed in nature, while still only minutes from downtown Fredericksburg.
Blue Sage is perched on a hillside with big Texas Hill Country views and a shared wellness area that includes a sauna, cold plunge, two cowboy pools, and a fire pit. Enchanted Rock is about fifteen minutes up the road, making Blue Sage a great base for hiking and exploring.
