The Acorn is dynamic, fun, and artistic. Enter from a sweeping helical staircase past the patio and outdoor bathtub (enclosed on three sides for privacy). Step inside to find a fully functional kitchenette, whimsical decor, and a cozy king bed under a vaulted ceiling. The bathroom has a glass rain shower that looks out to the bedroom and the trees beyond. Ascend to the rooftop for a stargazing patio and relax in the daybed or macrame swing under twinkle lights. Please note: The Acorn has lots of stairs — it’s a treehouse! Its floor level is 10 feet above the ground. While The Acorn is secluded and quiet, it’s also conveniently located only 8 minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg.

The Acorn is located a short walk from the parking area.
Guest must be able to climb stairs. The Acorn has exterior stairs to access the main cabin and the upper decks.
Please note that the shower in The Acorn is exposed to the bedroom. A shower curtain increases privacy.

No smoking, no pets, no parties or events. Please respect the privacy and tranquility of any other guests on the property: no loud music in outdoor areas.
No hunting or fishing is allowed at HoneyTree. No drones.
The Acorn is designed to accommodate two guests and doesn’t have room for children.

Getting to The Acorn
HoneyTree is located just 8 minutes outside of Fredericksburg off of Hwy 16N. Be mindful when planning your stay to use the directions sent to you along with your reservation instead of relying on Google or Apple Maps.
Check-in & Check-out
The Acorn offers self check-in with the keypad and your unique guest code. Check-in is available starting at 3:00pm the day of your reservation. Check-out is at 11am the day of your departure.
